I currently have a 95 gmc 1500 with a lot of suspension upgrades and currently has the 350 in it with original 130K. I have already purchased a complete 5.3 motor with only 120K that I want to build to be street friendly, mileage friendly, and a go getter when needed. Owned several race cars in the past just want something to enjoy in the street. Look forward to gaining knowledge on what will be best for my build.

Bought the truck as it sits with 4 & 6 drop c notched frame. Rides great ready for this ls swap now.

Thanks for the welcome. I plan to do a swap similar to yours ls1 and leave in my stock 4L60E as the truck and trans only have about 130,00 miles and the trans was rebuilt at some point and works great. Do I have to leave the stock computer in the truck in order to control the trans on my 95 or can I delete that item. Also did you go with the corvette style fuel regulator/filter. The regulator for the engine is on the fuel rail. And I used the stock fuel filter. I don't if you can use the 95 transmission. If so, you can delete your old pcm, it is no longer needed.
