So I was carousing ebay the other day, and I came across a used Volant Powercore intake off of a 2005 suburban. I bid on it at 114.94, and ended up winning it. It was being sold by LKQ as a takeoff item. I bought it Wednesday, it arrived today, and I installed it in about 45 minutes at a friend's shop, which is about 8 blocks from where I live. Instant drivability difference, nothing major, but definitely noticeable. When I jumped on the throttle to see how loud it is... HOLY COW!I love it! I will be filling the gas tank this weekend, so (like always) I am going to reset the average MPG and see if it changes. I'd be happy to post some pics, but I don't know how to do it here...
