I've been doing some google searches a this site keeps coming up. After lurking awhile I decided to join.
I have a OBS 2dr 2wd Tahoe that has 278k on it (it's tired and has the original unbuilt trans. I've got a chance at a wrecked 05 2500 with a LQ4 4l80e. With 90k on it. I know the owner and the maintenance schedule. If things work out and the price is right I will be doing a lq4/4l80e swap to the tahoe. I've already picked up a 14 bolt sf rear axle, so I have that area already covered.
