Nice looking truck. Makes me wish I still had my '67 long bed. Would have been a great truck for a swap. Live and learn, right?

    hey jeff,
ya, got the front crossmember cut and dished out, wanted the engine to sit lower and further back.
i don't see how the hell the stock perches and dirty dingo mounts all the engine and trans to fit.
I have lowered the engine, which lower trans, duh, and it's still about 1" from the trans tunnel.
But the engine is sitting about 1 foot back vs stock.

engine mounts done, welded. hardest part is sitting in the engine and getting it perfectly angled and straight, i'm picky, after this it'll fly by.

not much happening, the raceday is right around the corner so we're busy with trucks.

Got some more progress this week.

Engine successfully installed where I want it.
Lower and further back; i can't imagine using the stock mounts and how forward and high up it would sit, that's just me.

    Engine almost complete.
    Trans in
Getting the fuel system done today, along with fuel cell.
    Found a trans cooler
Radiator pulled down from the shelf, that's been waiting a while.
