    cold air intake

Anyone have a suggestion on an intake for my l92 swap? Been running a ls3 camaro spectre intake but I'm putting a holley r4 ac kit on it so I've got to find something else. The battery will be moved to the drivers side so it will be directed to the passenger side. I know a 07 + truck intake will work but I can't find one that is 4 inch. Truck is a 90 k1500

I'm working on this myself. I may forego the CAI in favor of a second battery; I haven't really decided yet. I'd love to see some hard data on what the actual improvement is with the CAI.

I think the improvement with the CAI is in the higher rpm ranges when used in conjunction with a more free flowing exhaust. I've also heard guys using a slightly larger and less restrictive maf sensor. Even with all that though the improvement is marginal at best, def under 20HP on a decent tune. The trifecta of air flow power is a cam, intake manifold and exhaust. You won't lose a lot of power through a stock air inlet system

Interesting. For 20 ponies I'd rather have the second battery. I wonder how much difference it makes in fuel economy...

You can try intakehose.com they have 4" tubing bent at a 90 degree.
