    Fbody transmission on 5.3 swap

Hey everyone. Just checking in(with a few questions at the bottom). I am new to the forum, but have been gathering info from it for awhile now.
    I have a 92 SCLB 2wd TBI 350 truck that is getting a...
-2003 5.3 LM7 converted back to DBC with supporting ECU
-2001 DBC harness I stripped down myself thanks to LT1Swap.com.
    -Engine is stock bottom end
    -PRC 2.5 heads milled .03"
-High lift, low duration 110LSA custom cam
    -LS2 timing chain
    -LS7 Lifters/trays
    -Schoenfeld swap headers
-Melling Oil Pump(was high pressure but swapped back to stock spring)
    -TBSS Injectors
    Truck also has
-3.73 gears and auburn posi unit in stock rear

I'm nearly ready to mate the engine and trans for install but I think I may have just run into my first problem...
A friend had a recently rebuilt ls1 4l60e out of a wrecked 98 Camaro for a good price. I purchased it a few months ago and sat on it till now.

I have a stock 5.3 Flexplate for my year, and a yank truck thruster 2600 stall.
Oh and 1" setback motor mount swap plates.

Will the fbody trans cause me any major(or minor)problems?
I know the tailshaft is different but will the mount on the bottom still bolt up and work?
Can I bend my 700r4 mechanical shifter bracket out slightly to make it work?
Finally, will this cause any wiring issues(I think I read something about a park neutral safety switch issue)?

Guys, I know that was a pretty tall order and longwinded. I just can't wait to run this thing and I don't need any hangups at the last minute.
Thank You all in advance and Hello!
    Garett

I am also worried about using the set back mounts on the swap with the newer and longer bellhousing. Does anyone have anyone have any input on fitment issues?

I can't help you directly but from my fbody reading I found that a T56 bolts in the same mounts as a 4L60E. In the truck world, 700R4 and 4L60E go in the same mounts. I won't tell you 100% but I would go 99% to say that it shouldn't be an issue.
There is a adapter that some of the guys have used to use a later tranny work with the early linkage. 88blazerboy? I believe that is his name, he used the linkage adapter.

Concerning the linkage, I had to cut and weld the original bracket that mounts on the transmission shift shaft to accommodate the shift switch which my '93 transmission did not have.
