Which flywheel for 4.3 to 4.8 5-speed swap?

    I'm swapping a 4.8 into a 2003 4.3 4x4 with a nv3500 trans.
I need some info on the clutch and flywheel for a 4.3 to 4.8 5-speed.
Will the one from 4.3 work or do I need a spacer or the flywheel for the 4.8?
    Thanks in advance!

Sachs NFW1050. It is an inexpensive flywheel for the 4.8.

use 4.8 stuff. Mines got a Centerforce clutch, and as a lot of members on here can attest to, that truck gets its ass beat on like a red headed step child. Clutch has held up fine.

yep, just get stock 4.8 stuff
and make sure you get the right slave hydraulic connection. early models had the quick-connect at the slave - later ones had the roll pin.
00 FRC - just top end, exhaust, and a hot-air intake
    99 Sierra - 5.3 / 5spd
