How do you disconnect wiring bulkhead connector on passenger side 99 OBS Tahoe?

I'm pulling my stock harness to send to Lextech w/LQ9 harness and I'm stuck on the bulkhead connector on the passenger side. It has two tabs on the side, but doesn't release w/quite a bit of pressure on the tabs. I'm afraid of breaking it. Anybody know the trick?

It unscrews from the inside. I tried to do the same thing recently on a 98 diesel.

I'm not seeing it there either. There are the two outside bolts which I've already removed, but doesn't this connector come apart somehow or do I have to go further into the dash to take the harness loose?

The connector will not come apart. There are I think two other plugs behind the glove box liner that need to be unplugged then the whole thing comes out.

Finally got the rest of the harness loose. For those reading this later, on the drivers side only the lower part of the bulkhead connector looks to come out; it is held in place by a torx found in a hole in the middle of the connector on the front side of it.
