Idk I this is the right place but I'm working on an 82 s10 and my 5.3 is gone. So till I get another I was going to finish my setup suspension ect. So my question is there a weight difference between the 5.3 and the older 350?

That really depends on materials. Aluminum heads or block will make a big difference.

Just a plan 350 iron no aluminum in it lol. Mainly going to be used to get my suspension set at right height. But may run it till I get a 5.3 built

Oh iron 5.3 out of a 01 Tahoe
The 5.3 will have aluminum heads and I believe the design is a little lighter, but we are talking a tad over 50lbs plus another 18lbs due to the heads.
