Hi, I'm new to the site and am here for help. A little background, I'm an OEF veteran with time for a project now that I am out. I have a 1984 chevy shorted with stock 305 ci and a 350t. I bought a 2001 camaro 5.7L aluminum long block with hot cam installed. I am wanting to simply convert it to carb for now as I don't want EFI period.have tried to pull together resources for a basic foundation to do this swap and conversion, but I am overwhelmed by the information around. I need a link or links for a guide to start gathering parts. Accessory Brackets, motor mount adapters, torque converter, well everything. I don't have any hot rod shops around so this isn't as easy as bigger locals. All I have found for my year of truck is 5.3 swaps and I don't even know if that would be universal to the 5.7 I have This is my very first swap and I picked a daisy of one to start with, but I did my duty and now have some free time, which I already have the engine so no giving up or until my head explodes, which after researching I think I'm losing information.
