    4.8 nv3500 starter problems

Got my 4.8 and nv3500 in my 2wd 95 rcsb. Got the what I belevie to be the correct fly wheel. Its the orylies nfw1050. First starter would spin, but not engage the flywheel. Went to the junk yard and got another starter. Bolted it up and tried to start it and all it does is grind. So I'm lost. Any one have any ideals of what to try next?

How did you do that? I have the same flywheel behind a 5.3 in my 1992 chevy pickup and I works fine.

I guess i was worried about the wiring to much and wasn't paying attention. I'm going to take another look at it today and make sure before I pull the transmission out...

Well. The flywheel ain't on backwards! Thought it was because it was still engaged to the fly wheel when I looked last night and it was dark and I could hardly see
Turn the key and all the starter does is grind. Every thing is bolted up tight and I can see were its grinding the teeth off on the starter. So mabey the third starter will do the trick!
