If I do a conversion to DBC and get rid of my DBW system, then all I do is uncheck all the DTC's for the accelerator pedal using HP Tuners?
I dont feel like modifying my firewall for the DBW pedal and finding a place to mount the TAC module.

Actually going by this info here>>> http://www.lt1swap.com/cable_conversion.htm The 411 PCM doesnt control the IAC stepper motor. I will crack my PCM open tomorrow to find out for sure. If not then I guess I will just keep the DBW setup.

The tac module mounts exactly where your old cruise servo mounted. As far as firewall and pedal you really need to bend it a bit to make it fit.
yeah man. honestly it's not that hard. I did it. tac module goes right where the old cruise control goes. drill a hole in the firewall for the dbw harness/grommet and bend the pedal. use a torch. DO NOT USE A HAMMER. ask me how I know... then 4 wires get hooked into the tac from your old cruise and bam. good to go. my cruise works flawlessly. ill PM you some pics of mine if you want to go through with it. I highly recommend. I don't notice any lag like some people say there is... in fact, I personally think it's too sensitive... lol. the larger stall helped that out though and now I love it. let me know

It does not have the stepper motor driver in it.

Finally starting to move this thing a long little by little. Just ordered up some fuel line adapters and hose as well as a set of Schoenfeld Headers. All from Summit. I would have gone and picked it up but they didnt have a couple parts in stock at this location so im hoping it shows up by the weekend.
Next up is to send out my ECU to get the DTC's and VATS tuned out.
Still need a timing set and a few gaskets & seals as well as a new crank pulley bolt, fuel pressure regulator and a couple other things I cant remember but have a list at work.
Should be in by summer. Been way to busy at work to be able to swap this thing. Tis the season for remote starts and making a ton of money.

To clarify, that diagram isn't only for '98. I'm the guy who made it, I used those fittings on my '95.
95 C1500 LM7, built 4L60e, Circle D 3200, LT's, Nelson tune, open differential, 3.42, and LS1 e-fans. Tractionless
Good to know. Thanks for chiming in.
Thank You for making that diagram. Really helps out in figuring what fittings are the correct ones. I know I have shared it quite a few times.
