Nice. I was debating whether or not to put the bars out back. Ive seen a pretty trick setup that had the bars benither the back window. Basically came out of cab then through bed. Dunno how you would go about pulling the bed off after that lol. Have you looked at replacing the back glass with lexan or whatever to lighten it?

I saw a setup like that also, but it is not legal and may get you kicked if you don't know the people running the track well. Then again if you know them that well odds are you could run without a cage at all.

Was going to replace it with Lexan but am thinking about leaving it glass since the bars will be coming out of the cab instead. My cab is permanently installed now and I imagine so will the bed.

Have been doing research tonight on who to go to for tuning. Really want a tuner in Texas and it be HP Tuners. That way I take it to them so they can drive it street tune it and put it on a dyno also. Then it being HP Tuners we can do small revisions VIA email.

Wheatley tuned my daily. Have been thinking Flaco' or Spikes shop. There is also East Texas Muscle Cars locally and they have some heavy hitters they have built but would prefer someone that has dealt with lots of 99+ GM trucks. Being N/A it should be simple to tune and would do it myself but don't wanna tune such a radical build my first time using HP Tuners. Only have cut my teeth with Diablo CMR for gas Rams and EFI Live for diesel Rams.

Yea I would suggest Flaco, Spike or Nelson. All would do a great job. Yea my cab will be permanent to once the cage goes in. And it's nice having hptuners and making tweaks yourself. That's kind of how I started tuning and now I tuned mine. I ran 10's in Monroe, La and they didnt give me shit about no cage but Im sure I would get kicked off at the tracks where I live now in south La so yea I have to cage it. Plus I want to be safe lol

Really leaning to Flaco since H-Town is closer to me and I have quite a few friends from there. Really need someone to stick with my though on the tuning and not bail once its dyno tuned though. Then again since its not a small build and the most aggressive 99+ N/A build I have heard of they may be more inclined to stick with it... IDK

Eventually I plan on doing all the adjustments myself like I did with my Ram.

Right? Don't wanna kill your ass when shit gets real on the track lol this is why mine also is getting a fire safe system. Just pull a lever and it will extinguish me and the engine.
