    LS6 Cam

Tried searching on here but no results. Not sure why though.

Looking for Pros & Cons on using it in my LQ4.

I can get a brand new one for $130 and thought it may be a good deal.
Been lurking since 09 and I finally have my kickass 6.0 LQ4

    Pros
Stock idle and bottom end power
    30rwhp bump
    Boost friendly

    Cons
Requires tune springs and hardened pushrods
    Very mild cam
Takes same amount of time and effort to swap as an aftermarket cam.

Thanx for the reply. Why the hardened pushrods?

To get the full benefits of the LS6 cam you will want to shift at 6500+rpm at those speeds you will risk bending a stock pushrod. Also the more aggressive cam will create additional stresses.
