;i have to be honest with you. im so confused. from the pics you are showing, i keep seeing an ac pump hooked up to your motor.... it sure as hell looks like you already have the kit hooked up... unless your showing pics of another swap??? im lost... how can the obs lines be in the same routing if the pump is on the complete oppposite side of the motor AND a different pump? something is up or i seriously cant read. lol i opologize if im being stupid right now


EDIT: OK, is the pump in your pics the ORIGINAL pump(88-98 style)? just without the bulky braket? maybe thats my problem of asuming its the "newer" pump. if that is the case then nevermind. but i do have one question. the pump is still moved to the opposite side... so how can the stock lines still work? they must be too short!!

The picture above is the stock Compressor in the stock location, used in 96-98. If your pump is on the passenger side thats what was used 88-95 and its a different type of compressor.

Edit: Theres also a bracket for the earlier style and it mounts on the passenger side.

Ok. Got it. Sorry about that. Didn't realize 95 was the cut off year and that they also moved the pump to the other side in 96. Makes sense now. Looks like I'm stuck with the old pump. Now I know what I need to do. Appreciate the clarification.

Motor wiring pretty much done on the block. Now I just need to clean up my powers and wires going to the PCM.

this thing is coming along great! i just picked up another tahoe and im gathering parts to do the swap again. im going to build an offroad truck this time so probably go with the lq4 and keep the 4wd this time. i like the way you routed the wiring. Mine was a mess!
