If you ran playboys cam with a 150shot you would smash most people on the highway. The 228 is a good NA cam for a light manual six speed car. To me a split duration cam in the high 220s or low 230s would be the best way to go especially if you want something bigger than your last cam. That eps cam that playboy has would be wicked.

    x2 your getting great advice.

Go with a split duration. You will have a broader poweband and no loss in peak power.

Since you are a roll racer you want a cam that make the majority of its power from shift recovery up. So naturally you will want a larger can then a drag racer that needed the power to come in soon after the converter flashes.

This cam is an absolute screamer up top. Needs a lot of gear to perform down low. I was cutting low 1.8 60s and running 7.8 1/8s.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Allen suggested getting a custom spec cam from Pat G. Thats probably what ill do 4 now. Later when funds allow ill grab a yank 3600 stall converter and some 4.10 gears
