    03 silverado ss 6.0 awd in 88 obs rcsb

    my friend was kind enough to give me his truck after u drunk driver ram it from behind.

    i took off the motor trans harness electric pedal and module.

    i wanted to install this in my truck so for right now im gathering all my parts. i good at installations n fab work. i done 3 swaps but there been carb ls.

    for my truck i wanna go efi. i plan on driving my truck everyday trips and just about everywhere having good power n best of all overdrive lol.

    can i reuse the stock 03 ss harness. who sell a good low budget harness.

    i want to keep my truck the stock look for im planing on keeping my factory gauges


    i heard that they sell a kit to make a awd trans to 2wd.

    any info helps guys.

    why not go awd? since you have everything, lemme know if you decide to sell that AWD transfer case.

    yeah i didnt much think about it. the truck is gone now. probably coke cans by now.

    You're gonna find that EFI is just as easy as doing the carb setup; after the first one, it's easier.

    You can reuse the harness, remove all the extra wiring you don't need, gather all the grounds and powers and connect it all correctly; there's more to it than that, but you'll figure it out.
    Be sure to get the TAC module; small black box bolted to the driver's side firewall and the foot pedal, with all that wiring as well. Take your time on all that part because if you mess up on it, you'll spend more time fixing it.

    There's info on what fuel connectors to use on the site.

    I believe you'll need to swap out the rear shaft in the trans and get a tailshaft assembly; someone else can chime in on that.
