Flexplate/Crankshaft Adapter/Spacer

Im currently working on a 5.3 swap into my 97 suburban.
Will I need a adapter/spacer for the 4L60E trans?
I ask because I was reading on jegs.com that the adapter is needed on pre 97 4L60E transmissions and my trans is a 97

Just want to be sure

For a 97 trans yes you will need the flywheel the spacer and the bolts and oblong 3 holes so the torque converter will bolt up
