will this oil pan kit work on a OBS

That's some good info kevhill85. I have a 1991 farmbody (aka) ck 1500 sbrc,it's bagged planning a 5.3 swap.

Its hard to beat the benefits of a fbody pan. 6 1/2 qt capacity and plenty of ground clearance. I personally will not install or run a pan that only has a 5qt capacity. I run a modded G8 pan on mine and with a nice big cooler it holds 9 1/2 qts.

Don't the hummer 3 pan sit lower then the crossmember?

I see no big deal in only using a 5 quart pan, I put on a Fbody pan on my current swap and it only holds 5 1/2 quarts , kevhill thanks for that info, that will definitely help out my budget on this swap

I'm still trying to get those pics posted. trying to find the chat box, maybe that will help. DBRODS is right in saying more oil capacity is better but for a dd and no racing/autocrossing/or turboing,we should be allright.
