    5.3 in 91 Camaro RS

I know its not a truck but its getting a truck motor and I dont hang to much on ls1tech, thirdgen or fbody sites so ill do it here. Car is currently a roller no motor and driver side seat missing and cluster is in bad shape.
Ill get pics in a week or so of the car so hang tight.

    5.3 specs
    TSP 224/228
    ARP headbolts
    ARP rod bolts
    LS9 Headgaskets
    Comps trunnion upgrade
    Stock cleaned up 862 heads
    GT45 turbo and homemade hotpipes
Possible BMR subframe and whole suspension
Procar seats since driver one was missing
Autometer gauges since factory one is questionable

This is gonna be a "budget build" so it will be a slow process. Im still debating on transmission dont know if a 60e or 80e would be better. Its going to be a street strip car with many miles being used as a daily driver. Boost will go up as money allows so the tranny needs to be done right once. Alll of the work will be done by me and my little brothers to keep costs down. Ill try to keep this thread updated but it will be a slow process.

That's okay, a build is a build. Should be fun.

Sounds like a fun build, can't wait for the pics and see how it progresses. Since it'll see the drag strip I'd go with the 80e, IMHO.Definitely do it right one time only. Good luck.

Look what showed up last friday. Funny thing is the cars nowhere close to running and this shows up.

Anybody guess what kind of turbo this is? Hint hint its off ebay.

Added pics to first post. Little history on the car. Friend of mine had bought 2 camaros, this one and a 86 berlinetta pretty much a bare bone v8 camaro. He didnt need the 86 so I bought it for 100 bucks as a roller. Got it running first and then asked for title (I know stupid thing to do but i was 17 at the time) found out the car had a lost title. Didnt bother so trashed the car and my friend was selling the one I got now and bought it for 100 as a roller as well but this time with title. It currently has a 350/700r4 combo but no driver seat. Its been sitting for 6 yrs and we figured it was time to get it rolling at last. Hopefully we will get started soon but still gathering parts.
