    Just depends on your goals. Journal bearing will spool a tad slower, but is just fine for most everything and much cheaper. One thing you don't want to try and save $$ on is a waste gate. Get a good brand, I prefer Tial. Bov is not as important unless your planning on going over 10 psi.


    yea that was in the pplan as well to swap a ls6 cam. for the time being im sure 10psi will be good enuff for me for a lil while, but like i mentioned above, might bump upto no more than 14psi.. which should put me in the 600-650hp range i belive?

    also good to know on the bearing type.. yeah for the money ill jsut go with a journal type. wondering what a/f i should run as well. i know the smaller the # the faster itll spool, but not sure whats gonna best suit my needs. it will be daily drive with 1/8mile track time a few times a months.. id like to be in the LOW 8.xx or better in the 1/8
