Turned the key today, mainly just to see if it would fire up. Started first try. Didn't run it long since I didn't have the serp belt installed. I could detect a high idle, may just need some run time to learn. Did notice the SES light on. Will dig into that tomorrow. Ignore my temporary "drainage pipe" CAI. Lol

    A few updates.

PPG clear over red metalcast (stock lights).

Dash was peeling. Powerwashed it to strip all the factory grey. Prepped and painted with SEM satin black. Interior will be '03 charcoal and black.

Mocked up '03 dash bezel and console. GM doesn't make anything easy. The HVAC panel needed to be lowered about 5/8". Found numerous threads on this mod. Also, I had to file on the bezel a little at a time to get it to fit the contour of the HVAC panel. Oh, and my $40 ebay leather wheel (it's in great shape). Came out great if I say so myself.
    Current project.
