We have been meaning to post up our new dual electric fan harness.
Our new fan harness functions just like the previous harness, however, we have improved the components.
Key features that have been added or retained:
TXL wiring. Resists high heat!
OEM Crimped and soldered terminals.
New Delphi Connectors.
Heat resistant loom/covering.
40amp rated waterproof/sealed relays.
Locking relay connector/socket.

Operation:
The harness is capable of operating just like the factory harness.
The PCM is capable of triggering the fan relays based on engine coolant temperature and AC line pressure.
Concern (reason why improvement was needed): A few vehicles that were equipped with our harness showed signs of terminal contamination. This was caused by the humid climate or washing the engine bay or other variables.
As terminals become contaminated, they build up heat and cause more resistance due to arc build up. Eventually the relays became nonoperational.
Fix: We now use only OEM type waterproof/sealed relays. These relays keep any moisture and contaminants off the terminals.
