    Suggestions?
To be honest I haven't looked too hard into the a/c compressor at this point. So the Sanden compressor would be the best choice or am I able to reuse mine?

Details? Is there anyway to reuse my stock a/c compressor? My other concern since my compressor is on the passenger side I'd like to keep it there.

Ok so I cleaned my motor and painted it today here is a before and after. I covered up all the holes, degreased and used a stiff bristle brush to get everything off. It's far from perfect but this won't be a show truck. I'd say if you wanted to do the same thing and could take your engine to the car wash it would be quicker and easier.

Hhmmm, I've never seen a 96-2000 GMT400 truck with the A/C compressor on the passenger side. My kit is to reuse the Drivers side high mounted A/C Compressor with the Gen3 engine.

You are absolutely right, I'm a retard lol. I have a 95 Tahoe and was thinking of that one not my 99. Thanks for the heads up. Send me some more info about your kit.
