where'd you get a temp sensor for the mirror? I completley forgot one yesterday at the junk yard when I picked up my mirror. if I go to the dealer can it be any temp sensor for a mirror?

i just got one from the front of a suburban with the grill off it looks like a little plastic point dipped in plastic with two wires. if the dealership charges anything for the sensor like they do for the mirror then screw that.

If you were to pull of the roof off u would see right thru it. The only place its doubled is around the doors and back cab wall n front window. The longer the roof the more braces it will have running across. If ur gonna bond it make sure u got bare steel on both sides but thats ur best bet. Oh and find a way to clamp it nice n tight while it cures.

Okay. I'm going back out to some yards in Austin today. Hopefully I'll be able to find one. I got the mirror and overhead console wired up last night and the compass calibrated without a problem. It was actually one of the few times I didnt get a bad junkyard part. Lol
