    Welcome

I have been here a while and I still have a pretty much bone stock silverado . But, that doesn't keep me from dreaming and planning. I bet the more you delve into the site, you will probably want to buy an LS1 instead putting money into your current motor. But what ever you plan to do your always welcome here.

Hahhaha, your level of mods are like mine...very few.

silverado5.3...I didn't descreen my MAF either. I'd start with something like a catback (Magnaflow), Air intake of sorts (FIPK, UPD, AirAid, etc.), ASP Pulleys, TransGo shift kit, and a tune...Allen does them.

Then you can do headers, ported TB, cam, rockers, etc.

Magnaflows are pretty quiet mufflers at cruise and part throttle acceleration. They get a bit louder at WOT. Best part is they don't resonate/drone at freeway cruising. They come in medium to quiet levels of sound.
