long tube headers into 89 truck

Anybody know if the long tubes from the 98 z28 will work in the truck? Or should i go ahead and look into getting different ones? Just trying to gather the odds and ends before tearing the truck apart

did you have any trouble with the tranny linkage on the 4l60 or did your truck already have it? I have a built 700r4 in the truck now with harder springs and a corvette cervo, should i just try running that behind it?
