differences between 4L60E's

Does anyone know if there is a difference between say a 99 4L60E vs. a 2002?

I have heard the 02+ trannys may have been built to hold more torque?

also the ecu i have is from a 2002 5.3 will it have issues with going to say a 2004 tranny?

any help is appreciated as i have been offered a trade on a 99 tranny and wondering if i should hold out for a newer one.

Other than a couple internal upgrades, same trans. Anything 97+ will interchange just fine. If you really want to, any of the later upgrades swap into the 99 trans, or use as is.
