Yeah sounds like a VATS problem, get Nelson to delete it in the tune... as for the oil pressure gauge, use a factory 5.3 sender, should fix you up. I know my LS6 is the same, I used a CTS V sender and it is pegged over 80, just have to swap it for a truck sender to match the harness.
2000 Chevy Silverado RCSB LS6 5 speed, LS6 short block, 317 heads, LS6 intake, Lunati 220/224 .575/.575 112LSA cam, Edelbrock Headers, CTS-V accessory drive, Nelson Performance Custom Tune.

Got the rev problem fixed... i pulled a bonehead caper... somehow the left bank wires had come unhooked and it wasnt getting spark or fuel cuz of the way i tied the injector wires and coil pack wires for each side in 2 bundles. Hooked those back up and it runs and drives like a DREAAAM!!! for those of you considerin swapping from a 350 tbi to a 5.3... there is no comparison!!! The 350 never thought about havin the power the 5.3 has!!!!!!

This is a good rule of thumb, but thinking that 2" placement difference of O2 sensors is going to effect the engine's ability to idle significantly is just not realistic. The 02s on my GTO are nowhere near 6" off the collector and I have zero issues with the tune.
