I don't think this will help but consider it a free bump!

I used a cable out of a 98-04 S10/Blazer on my 5.7 LS1, and it was a perfect fit in my 04' Colorado. I had to drill a new hole in the bracket on the intake for the cable, but it works perfectly. I got it at Pull a Part for $2.80

In my 1992 chevy pickup i just used the throttle cable that came with the 5.3.I had to shave the plastic down on the throttle cable side that went to the gas pedal.Fits perfect.
