Just wanted to introduce myself here I dont have a truck yet but I am contemplating making one of my 2500 6.0 2 wheel drive work trucks into a race/street truck. Tryingh to see what setups to go with, good tuners, turbos, nitrous or both. I have a duramax diesel now with a compound setup and it runs pretty well just want to see what the gasoline side of things are like.

What's wrong with a 3/4 ton race truck? I have an 05' 2500HD stock, and I have dreams of making it a race truck as well. One of the Magnacharger dealers has a 2005 2500HD with about 800+ horsepower, I saw it run down at the Columbus Goodguy's show and it was really impressive. He was the one who inspired me actually!!
thanks for the welcome fellas. Should I be in the market for 1/2 ton? My 7000lbs diesel went 12.2 lol. Just trying to get a feel for the gas truck scene really dont want to make a car fast. If yall have a cruise Im in.
Was it a white diesel? I remember one day at NP Raceway I lined up next to a white diesel with a camper and he ran a 12.2

Did you line up next to a silver truck? lol... I'm not quite sure if I remember it having a camper, but thats exactly what it ran... I was like "I got this in the bag" and got straight whooped... lol
