    Front driveshaft

Heres some pics of the fabbed up front driveshaft I did. Since it didnt fit, I took some old sleeves (4) I had off my lift kit, cut them down to length, and welded them on the outside 4 bolt holes. Then I had a peice of 3" exhaust, but I found a 3" pipe that was heavier in strength so I used that. I basically cut them so they were 1 1/2". Worked out pretty good. It might be out of balance a little but I dont drive the truck with the front driveshaft in most of the time anyway. It was pretty simple doing this and saved me a good 200 from having it lengthened at a shop. Now I just need to figure out what I am going to do for the rear shaft...

    Harness questions

I need some help with my wiring. I ordered a standalone engine/trans harness from nelson performance and I am trying to figure how/where i tie in my old 4wd harness. When I was ordering from them i expected the harness to come with all the 4x4 stuff but it doesnt because they said that the 4x4 harness isnt actually tied into the engine/trans harness and that the 4x4 harness was considered more "standalone". What I need to know is where it gets its signal from for power.

So my electronic gas pedal (has been modded to fit obs truck) and the gas pedal control box (with wires) is probably going to be up for grabs. I plan on getting a DBC ecm and 96-98 vortec throttle cable to run with a LS1 DBC throttle body.

Anyone see problems that I will run into?
Will the tps swap over to the dbc from the dbw? Or will you have to get new sensors as well?

Nope, I am having my harness made for DBC from Nelson's. So I will have to get new TPS and IAC Sensors for my DBC TB

Got a LOT done on the old harness last night. Have a few questions. What is the relay on the firewire kind of by the brake master cylinder? Is it a relay for backup lights?

And do I use all my old t case connectors? Anyone have diagrams for the tcase?

One last thing is how do i get my reverse lights to work? Any diagrams for that as well?

The fuel pump relay? Kind of round in shape with a grey wire coming out of it? Backup light should be in the steering column IIRC.

No its not the fuel pump relay thats more towards the passenger side. Its a relay right between the winshield wiper box (i think) and the brake master cyl

Never seen that relay before. Is it factory?

Maybe Nathan will see and and have an idea of what it is.
