    Everything worked out perfect. The trans output seal matched perfectly to the mark on the yoke. Trans mount also lined up perfect. Using all stock off the shelf parts for the entire swap on the truck. Only thing custom made were the motor mounts.
    Old: 1998 K1500 White ext cab stepside, vortec 350. Stock besides Volant intake.

    New: 1998 K1500 with stock LS2 besides LQ9 truck intake and 8.1L Marine injectors. Dynotuned, 350rwhp, custom 3.5" exhaust, &#39;02 F-Body Racetronix fuel pump setup. All wiring, exhaust, motor brackets done in shop.

    Thats awesome&#33; Congrats. Hey by the way what did you do about the LS2 knock sensors or is that only a problem when you take an LS1 and buy an LS2 block and bolt everything on?

    The knock sensor is an easy fix. Use LS1 knock sensors, and either use them in an unused engine mount hole, or you can drill and tap the original knock sensor locations on the sides of the block just above the oil pan. Then either buy an exntension harness or extend the wires yourself. I believe the tap size was a M10x1.5...its the same size as the engine mount holes and the holes in the front/rear of the heads.

    The knock sensors will work fine where ever you can put them in the block.
