Assassin Traction Bars instal on 08+

well sold the cal tracs and switched to the Smith Racecraft assassin bars...

this is on my 08' Silverado with flip kit....

not so much of a simple bolt on,had to cut the middle leaf and mill the u bolt plates but they worked and i thought id share for you gmt900 guys that might be thinking about buying a set for yourself.

this right heres shows as you can see there is no room for the leaf u bolt plate kit to bolt up on since middle leaf is in the way

this is where it originally has to be

this is where i had to cut back on the leaf for more room.

there it is cut back and hole drilled for bracket

    snugged up,now its perfect!

tried to bolt up u bolt plate and did not work out right, here u can see where it needs to be milled open more.the center hole for leaf spring nut is way off.

well not what i expected ..spent 60 bucks at machine shop to mill the plates....but at the end they worked lol
