wire for trans to brake switch question

OK so I have a wire coming from my ecm thats supposed to hookup to my brake switch. Easy right? Well the wire needs power all the time and ground when the brake pedal is pressed. I only have a two wire switch. Power and ground. The ground has power when pedal is pressed. So I dunno what to do with the wire cause there's not anywhere to really hook it up. Anyone got any suggestions or parts to fix this issue? Thank!

might need to retrofit an 88-98 brake switch to it. The whole purpose of that lead is to kill the power to the transmission upon braking, this will unlock the torque convertor.

the torque converter lockup is controlled by tps and mph as well. we've done a lot of conversions and never really needed that wire.
the converter locks and unlocks just like it should.
    that's just my experience.

That's what a brake switch is but I need a ground when brakes applied and power when brakes aren't applied.

If u want or need it, run the brake wore thru a really that will ground when activated. That's how u can go from using a power lead to needing a ground.

We never hook it up and they converters work just fine. They don't stay locked when slowing down and coming to a stop without using the brakes.
80's unlock anyway when u release the throttle. 60's unlock for u based on mph and tps.
