Welp today got the trans hooked up, had a hell of a time pushing the trans up the extra bit, then torquing the TC bolts was a total bish, and lastly the lower bellhousing (which took all of 2 minutes to take off) was the biggest bish of all. In the process of putting it back on I bent it all to hell, so to finish the job I just bent that hoe down the middle and threw it.

Tomorrow I'm going to the junkyard for another lower bellhousing cover and once I have it put on I'll install my headers.

Alright guys...yesterday I got the headers hooked up.

Today I started to dig through my stock wiring harness and realized I don't know what the fu** I'm doing, I took out probably 6 wires and just quit because I didn't want to be pulling wires out that I need. It seems that there are a ton of freaking wires just going from the pcm to the fuse box and not many connectors. What do I need to do? I've been reading up on this for a while now and thought I had an idea...apparently that wasn't the case. I know to keep the coolant temp sensor and oil pressure sensor but frankly all the other wires have just overwhelmed me

i would suggest just worry about get the basics for now. get it running then worry about the gauges later. i hooked up power to my fuse box last night and and i got power to my feul pump and starter. they dont have anything to do with the ls harness or engine. so once i get my pcm back ill provide it with the power and stuff turn the key and hope for the best. i was told also with my truck the only guages i need to hook up are oil pressue and temp. they are pretty easy orders the adapers from s&p and hooked up the stock sensors and plugs.

i'm going through the same thing. i think i pretty much got it figured out. i'm keeping the coolant temp, oil pressure, a/c & cruise from the truck harness. everything else is getting removed. best advise is find the wiring diagrams for you truck & just keep reading over them & comparing them to your harness. i've already been through one harness just to find out it was from a 98 & is different from my 96, but it was a good learning experience. i haven't seen much on wiring diagrams for 95, but you may want to check autozone.com for it if you don't have them already.

Check lt1swap.com they have a lot of good info there you can print out the pin outs then go through and check off what wires you don't need then depin the harness but label the ones you need to keep.

Not TOO much more progress has been made, most of the standalone is hooked up. I need a driver side battery tray, a longer starter cable, o2 sensors, and a f body tensioner
