I'm in the process of putting a 6.0 together. It is a 6.0 (original iron heads) that I'm using aluminum heads for it and will be using a 4L80E trans. While at it I would like to do a cam, custom programming and long tube headers but do not want to compromise reliability or drivability. Emissions are not an issue since the vehicle is excempt. Idle can be a little rough as long as it is clean burning, since the vehicle will be used offroad at times and one can spend lots of time at iddle or close to it ( do not want to smell like exhaust by the end of the day). I would like to achieve 375+ RWHP, is that a realistic # ? I'm looking for advise on cam selection, programming, header size/lenght (will be custom made), MAF or not, larger throttle body or stock, stock injectors or larger.
Thanks,
Dave
