so im getting a new short block or motor under warranty, and was wondering what color i should paint the block while its out of the truck and taken apart

Machine grey/silver will let and oil leaks/spillage stand out for cleaning

But painted to make ur truck with matchin valve covers and polished and cleared coil pack holder would gnarly!

Paint the block pink, the heads yellow and the intake purple. That should get some attention.

If I ever get around to building the 6L block that I have at the house I will be painting either white to match the truck or hot neon pink just to be funny.

I have thought about pulling my intake, or getting a TBSS intake(again) and painting it white along with the valve covers. I already have a white powder coated TB and want to get some more paint under there. Maybe I will pull the CAI off and paint it white also.
