The food I am cooking is for Saturday at the track, not Friday at Allen's shop, I'm sure the same guys who have been doing the food for the Dyno Day will be doing it.

I normally stay at the BW way over by the track because I don't use the hotel for much other than taking a shower. Usually don't crash until the sun is close to shining and I am an early riser even for an old ass guy.

Just so you know down town might as well be in the hood. Best to get a cab to there and back.

Guys I just got off the phone with Chris Riojas and he said his side of town is much nicer than what we're looking at. He posted a link a while back in this thread that had hotels in his area on it. I'm going to go back through it and look. He said its about 20 minutes from the Riverwalk and Nelsons and about 30 to the track. I'd rather pay the extra money and stay somewhere I know is safe vs taking the chance on places like we're looking into.
Sheet too many hotels have been mentioned, what hotel is this you speak of?

    95 C1500 LM7, built 4L60e, Circle D 3200, LT's, Nelson tune, open differential, 3.42, and LS1 e-fans. Tractionless

What about just this la Quinta that was mention last. By sea world or whatever. Credit said he has reservations. That's two members so far. The price is good. If the parking lot is secure. I say go for it. If we book the whole hotel... Not like we will have rowdy people staying... Besides us

This link is the one Chris was talking about:

These look like the most affordable ones in the area. I don't mind spending a little extra to make sure our stuff stays safe. You guys can research which one looks best to you.

Chris said it was a trashy neighborhood. I'm sure you remember where we stayed last time. That bad or worse, I'm not interested in. The places I posted above are supposedly in a nice area and the rates aren't much higher. I still have my reservation at the LQ until we decide on something though.
