    Trans issues brand new 4l60e

Just installed my built trans for my lsx s10 blazer a few days ago, along with a 2500 stall converter. I'm still breaking it in but noticing the trans is very inconsistent. I'm trying to decide if a tune will most likely take care of my issues or not. I've never drove a vehicle with stall and i have no idea why sometimes from a stop it will stall out to 2500 and sometimes it wont stall at all and take off like a normal car. Its completely random...

I have almost 300 miles on it and i thought i'd try and see if it will down shift from 2nd to 1st but all it did was sit at 3k rpm and and fall on its face... driving 65 I gave it 50% throttle and dropped to 3rd perfect and pulled hard.

    Just looking for some insight.
    -2wd 60e
    -2500 stall
    -running ams oil atf
-rebuilt front to back with new 13vane pump, high energy clutches, steels, band, new transgo separator plate, transgo hd2-c, billet servos, other valve body mods, new beast sunshell , reverse drum, 29 element sprag. list goes on.. Its not super crazy but supposed to be enough for my 6.0 s10 blazer. Thanks for the help in advance.

One person I have dealt with told me not touch torque management which I think is part of my problem. Everyone else tells me to get rid of that ... I think I will. How is a stall supposed to act under normal driving conditions? Should it take off like a stock vehicle or should I have to rev it up everytime?

Itll take off normal, just needs more gas and whill feel like the trans is slipping, but a 2500 stall isnt that big so might not be real noticeable. And yes get rid of TM.

Generally with TM it is a disputed fight over how much you need or don't need. Some just take it all out no matter what. Others will only take 50 or 75%. Generally those that do leave some in it do so to save the trans. If you have a stock trans its a good idea to leave some in it.

Since you have a built 60e in a light vehicle and your not making 1,000hp I would say you are safe to take it all out if you want. I think if you want it to ride like stock leave in some. If you want max power the whole way zero it out. Kinda personal preference... I would just zero it out personally.

I like the way you think, do you guys think these symptoms can be cured with a tune? I have a dyno day scheduled with the local performance shop as of today.
