i have a 99 gmc suburban 2wd 2500 5.7 , with over 250,000 miles ,engine and trans have never been touched but are tired ,i actually put it up for sale but i'm reconsidering -1st- i like the truck and it has never given me any problems -2nd- i'm having a hard time finding a replacement in the same combo with low miles thats not too expensive .i also have a 2000 silverado 4x4 2500 3-door 6.0 that seems to have double the power of the 5.7.......is a 6.0 swap into my sub a big hassle ? or should i just rebuild the 5.7 and 4l80 ? what year 6.0 would be the best swap cadidate ? i do lots of highway driving and occasionally tow a single car trailer.....any thoughts are appreciated
