I'll go home and measure my current tires. They have a good bit more sidewall than the 255/50. If the 275/40 is even smaller I will know what to start looking at.

That sound about. How much height difference is there?

I know the higher the second number relates to how much of a percentage of the tire is sidewall. How the first number is brought about I don't know. I once thought it related to tire height like 255 = 25.5 in. But recently found that isn't the case.

IIRC, First number is how wide the tire is in mm. The second number is the the sidewall (%width). So a 275/55 would be 275mm wide, and 151 of sidewall. I THINK.

Ya ur right playboy just 275mm x 55%= sidewall height then add that twice plus ur rim size and thats an estimate.... But on tirerack I think you it is they tell you what each and every brand of each series roll out too... Youd be surprised the different... You usually find the cheaper tires like Sunny and otber traders village tires being ghe most off in height eother way short or way tall...

I couldnt agree more woth zach on 45 series 275s they look great!

Stock ride height in front for now tires are 275/45/20s

    1.5" to level rear

That tink helped out a ton. Thank ya. May go with 255/40. That would be the same height tire as my slick is. Would keep truck same height instead of front end higher on track...
