double din install but sounds cuts off

installing a pioneer double din on a 06' Chevy Silverado with Bose and onstar...we have the right adapter,cd player is like new ....and everything is connected sound comes on for like 5-10 seconds then goes away....but cdplayer stays on.........whats weird on the harness adapter it has rcas instead of speaker wires to hook up to the cdplayer harness speaker wires...

any ideas?im sure its something simple

Disconnect battery for like 15-30 mins. Reconnect and cycle the key switch. The amp may need reset, this might do the trick, and its free.

    I'm in same boat.
Mine was shutting off the bose amp, but for some odd reason it stopped shutting down.

    See thread here
Maybe between the two of us, one of can figure it out and post up the solution..
