Okay, first off, a 3/4 drop on an NNBS RCSB is going to have a TON of rake to it. I would suggest going 3/5 at least. To that note, I would do all McGaughy's drop parts as they are the company that most people have the best success with. McGaughy's part number 34025 should give you the best parts to complete your friends drop. Up front, you'll have spindles and coil relocators to give you a 3" drop, out back will be a flip kit with 1" lift hangers to give you a 5" drop. That way, if you get done and it still has rake, just take the lift hangers off to get a full 6" rear drop. You'll also need some drop shocks for the rear, Belltech Street Performance shocks are the way to go. The drop kit is ~$700 and the shocks should be ~$120.

Answers to other questions that may come up: No, you don't need to notch at 5" or even 6" of rear drop on an NNBS and No, you don't need helper bags or air shocks on a 5" or 6" rear drop.

On my 08, I did the springs, drop shakles and removed the blocks. With a load, it would ride on the bump stops the whole time. I was considering helper bags, then I sold it.

Good luck getting the 4x4 any lower than 2" in the front. And good luck with ball joints.

There are a multitude of people on GMFS that have NNBS 4x4s that are 4/7 and even 5/8 and are have no issues utilizing 4 wheel drive.

    Edit:

    Here's a ECSB 4wd at 4/7 IIRC with 24x10s and 285/30 Nittos

    And here's a CCSB 4wd at 4/6 with 24x10s and 295/35 Nittos

And lastly, to the OP... here's an RCSB 2wd at 3/5... you can see how even at 3/5, the RCSB's have rake.
