I agree with Chris, I think it's ridiculous to believe that just because you regularly post on this site and you've been here for a while that you deserve more respect than anyone else. I think Allen has a point that the Vets have an obligation to show the Newbies how it is that LS1Truck.com is run as opposed to the "other" sites. I swear, in the time it takes some of you to think up the eloquent responses to the Newbies questions, you could've taken half the time and given a well thought out response. This site is about information exchange, i.e. give up the knowledge that you have, and absorb the knowledge you don't... not bash people for something you THINK they should already know.

Why you don't get it to the Vets area, and we can spit it out there ! I dare you.

This is not and "outside Observation". I have the balls to face what my post means, nor try to en-mask them like "air quotes". You are not gonna treat me like my 14 yo nanny. You can can take it all you want, it's always gonna hurt, and I will make sure u sober to remember IT !

I'll be waiting you red at the Vets Area.

Respect is earned, not given. Disrespect is also earned. I said nothing about timeframe. I just said he may not have the respect of some members... me included.

Maybe that's just the way I was brought up. Not changing it now.

it comes down to the following

Man, I really feel good that I rid myself of the disease of this site a while ago. It's not a bad place, but caring about it fosters angst in one's life. I care about some of the people here and I like to read stuff people write (rite?) but it generally doesn't make me mad any more because of the hype.....gotta consider the source. At least some of the previous vermin has been eliminated by their own choice. Anyone that thinks this site is mean or pushy hasn't been around very long....it's had much worse times. Yes, some people (a lot) have been here longer than I have. It's also weird I posted right after George. Hi, George.

At the end of the day, we are all men (with a random woman thrown in for texture), and we deserve respect right out of the box. If one of us walked up to you on the street or at a meet and asked you a question about your truck, how would you treat the situation? Would you be someone who'd help nurture the growth of our hobby (or career) and spread your knowledge? Or would you be the dickhead with the snappy comeback and puffed chest arrogance that most people won't take seriously? Most people would choose the former in a face to face encounter, but there are alot of guys on here with keyboard courage that pop off to make their dicks bigger. Get over yourselves. Tell me how tough you are if I'm in your face, otherwise, just help me answer my damn question.

I will admit, the questions about which CAI to buy and how much power you can get from a TB spacer are ridiculous. Maybe there should be a newbies section with a bunch of stickies about all the generic mods that someone should do before getting into real performance mods. Just my
