    what gears??

Hey guys gonna do a gear swap pretty soon and wanted some more input. My 95 ecss z71 has a lq4, mainly stock, Cai and will be nelson tuned within the month. Probuilt 60e, and a circle d 2800 tc. It has 33" tires on it now and might possibly have 35s on it next go round but haven't made up my mind. I was thinking about 4.56s and true track for the rear what do you guys think?

if you're going to 35's for sure, do the 4.56 gears, if not, the 4.10's are just right for the 33's.

Another question. Any guesses on where my rpm would be with both gear sets on the 33some at 70mph? My truck is the daily driver at the moment but it never sees a lot of highway time. My daily commute to work is 15 miles at an average speed of 55-60, and its the weekend toy, so with 4.56s the rpm would probably be around 2400 at highway speed??

Use the bottom calculator. The OD ratio (Transmission Final Gear Ratio) for a 4L60 is .70 in case you didn't know.

with that little bit of driving and that speed, i'd go as steep as you can in that big truck, it's gonna make it feel lighter, i'd say 4.56 then, no less than 4.10's.

    I run 33's with 4.56's.
Not saying its right but I like it.
My brother has 4.88 on 35's.

We are just trying to stay a little over a stock equivalent ratio of 4.10.
