put a skid plate under there going from in front of the xmember to under the oil pan. If you break the pan you probably won't know until the engine is burned up.

Or it might be just as easy to install a fbody pan.

Havent posted here in a lil while but still gettin some work done slowly..
Got a good deal on a billet wheel so painted it to match.

Also put some blue LEDs in the HVAC controls today. Went to good ole Wal Mart and picked up a blue transparent clipboard for $2 and cut it up for the display. Now its all nice and blue instead of hideous green! lol

Also bought an intake for it that fits great IMO. Changing out the blue couplers to black to blend in better. Prob gonna just end up using these 6.0L covers for a clean factory look.

Exhaust is done! I'll have vids shortly.

and a pic in the sun. Maybe it wont be two tone for much longer.

    Several questions:
    1. What A/C kit is that and are you happy with it and it's setup?
    2. What intake kit is it?
    3. What radiator fan setup are you using?

Lastly, this thing looks great. Would love to see a walkaround video of it, pointing out the highlights!

    1. The AC compressor is the stock 93 one. The bracket kit is from Josh Powers. Do a little searching for his name and there are several threads with it on here and few other sites. So far I like the setup but I havent got to run it much at all.
    2. The intake is for a 6.0L Hummer H2. I did some digging and test fitting and found this one works great for these LS engines in and OBS truck. I havent seen anyone else using one so maybe it'll catch on. haha I did not want some rigged looking PVC pipe or even the alum tubing on this one.
    3. The radiator came from a late 90's 3/4 ton Chevy truck. Its a 34" radiator whereas the stock was 31" plus this one is thicker. Its a direct fit to any OBS but will also need the top mounts from the donor truck. I went out and measured my 06 and it had the same size radiator in it so I found some take off E-fans on eBay from an 06 and they fit great. I had to trim the top ears off of them however. My buddy is making me a radiator cover so then I an mount the top. Only the bottom of them is mounted in these pics is why is sticks a little away from the radiator.

Thanks. I will do some more pics and vids once I get few more things done. Its def came a long ways from where it was at.

Excellent job on your build!! I am in the middle of mine right now and have a question about the A/C....I am using the Powers A/C bracket in my '93 with stock compressor... if I bolt the stock hoses back up I get a big kink in the big suction hose.....the angle of the hard lines out of the compressor are not angled right for the Powers bracket set up......how did you fix the problem with your set up??? Did you get a big kink in your lines ?????
