Corvette rolling chassis

Has anyone on here taken an entire late model Corvette rolling chassis and dropped a body off of something else down on to it ? Thinking about doing something like this and I've seen some on the web that were priced less than $10,000 . There was a 1999 on ebay that had 13,000 miles on it for about 7 grand.

If you plan on a full size truck installation the corvette 104.5" wheel base could be an issue unless you stretch the frame.
