th400 or th350 gear vendors and paddle shifter ?

since im still in the hospital with nothin to do ideas run wild in my head. what would u guys think about either a th350 or 400 with gear vendors and a paddle shifter? was doin some research they make paddle shifers that will work the tranny and the gear vendors where u can split every gear. i was thinkin full manual valve body and paddles. the only down side is u would have to be shifting all the time with the manual valve body like a standard. u can program the shifter to where it has 6 gears for up and down shifts. the gear vendors is suppose to be able to up shift and down shift at wot. the reason i was thinkin about this i cause of the 6 speed autos and how cool it would be to have 6 gears in the older trucks like my 03 where u couldnt make the new trannys work. i wont ever have the money to do it just an idea im puttin out there to get some feed back for.

You can swap a 6l90 into the older trucks. It's been done a couple time if my mind serves me correct. Need a bunch of crap to do the swap, but it's doable.

ya i figured it had been but paddle shifters would be awsome i think. ive played around with lots of calculators to figure the best combo for 6 gears and almost the same rpm drop bettwen gears and it seems to be the stock th350 gearing with a 3.73 and u would be running almost 2500rpm at 70 with 29" tires. the rpms would drop about 1500 rpm give or take a few each gear change. just killin time i think it would be cool to be in a truck with true paddle shifters. lol imagin drop a gear or 2 with the paddles and blow past someone wile cruisin down the highway. all this would cost way to much to ever do so forgive i yall are beatin yalls head aginst the wall lookin at it i have nothin better to do lol

Ya, I was looking at the street st-1200 lenco when I was going auto swap. Only issue was it's only good for 1200 hp. To get over that u have to go full race version and the clutch life is very short. I want a true street setup. The th 400 gv setup should be perfect.
