Thinking about ditching my Powertrax for a TruTrac but got a ?

I was looking at Ron's Machining Service website and noticed they have the Detroit Trutrac and USA Gear Valuetrac and it says "similiar to Trutrac". This Valuetrac is noticeably cheaper, just wondering if anyone bought this one instead of the Trutrac???

Also what spline axles do i have in my 89', rearend is out of a 92 or 94??

Ask Ron for the custumers reviews/returns...he is a great guy.

    92-94 10 bolt would be 30 spline.

I got a reply from Ron's Machining Service and the Valuetrac is a knockoff of the Trutrac

Ron mentioned to me is the same exact setup as the tru trac with a different name on it...i was going to get one at that time but they were sold out so that says sumthin there...so i went with the tru trac.btw i run the us standard gears and no issues at all.

    you have a powertraxx locker?

    Why you are changing it?

If you want to go for a posi type tracc device, why not a Powertraxx non-slip?

You will be using your same open carrier !

I have the NoSlip locker and its starting to act up, sometimes when I nail it rolling only one wheel engages and the truck will jerk to one side.
And my wheel hop issue seems to be from the powertrax.

Seeing Im rebuilding the rearend I want to put a real posi unit in it when I turn up the power.

then upgrade to the powertrax locker.

cheaper than the No-slip, and almost all the time locked !

I had put those behind some good torque and never failed !

Digging this up, I am also deciding between the TrueTrac and ValueTrac. Anyone have any experience with the ValueTrac?
